The epic space opera franchise has once again thrown at its global fan-base a look in to its latest installment Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
The premise of the story begins before the 1977’s A New Hope; during the time when the Death Star was being built and Vader was in his prime as the Emperor’s galactic enforcer.
This would mean for an overwhelming ooze of nostalgia and allows Edwards to flirt with familiar iconography and designs ;and this “back to the good old days” approach will not just be a hopeful given Edwards’ own well-known fandom.
And of course there in the trailer; was a blast from the past. The return of Vader has been rumored almost since news of standalone Star Wars films first broke but Gareth Edwards played coy during his Celebration panel last month, only acknowledging that James Earl Jones had come in to record some dialogue for a character in Rogue One
The film is set to release on the 16th of December 2016, in the United States
