Parliament will convene at 1.00 p.m. today.   The agenda includes fourteen questions for which answers will be sought.

An adjournment motion over the statement made by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on the government’s economic policy will be taken up for debate in parliament today.

Quoting the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy, Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, our parliamentary correspondent reported that the Report of the Committee appointed by the Minister to inquire into the sudden power-failures that took place in the recent past, and other reports, will be presented to parliament today, Wednesday, March 23.
