Gotabhaya Rajapaksa summoned before Presidential Commission of Inquiry

Former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was, on Thursday, October 8, summoned before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to investigate and inquire into serious acts of fraud, corruption and abuse of
power.

According to Secretary to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry,  Lacille de Silva, former defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was summoned to record evidence over the use of employees at Rakna Arakshaka Lanka for election propaganda activities.

He stated that three accountants from Rakna Arakshaka Lanka were questioned for three hours.
