Al Jazeera journalists Mohamed Fahmy and Baher Mohamed have been released from prison following a presidential pardon in Egypt.
Dozes of activists have also been released following the presidential pardon, that was done to mark the occasion of Eid-al-Adha, the Muslim holiday that starts on Thursday.
It is unclear if seven other journalists from Al Jazeera including Australian Peter Greste, were a part of the pardoned group, who were given prison sentencing ranging from three to to ten years.
