Gotabhaya Rajapaksa questioned for over six hours on Rakna Lanka weapons

Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa was once again summoned on Thursday, September 17, before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to investigate and inquire into serious acts of fraud, corruption and abuse of power, state resources and privileges. The former defence secretary was questioned for over six hours pertaining to the investigation on Rakna Araksha Lanka Limited and its transactions.

In addition, to Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, former parliamentarian Duminda Silva and former provincial minister Upali Kodikara were also summoned for questioning.

According to Lacille de Silva, secretary to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry, Former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was questioned on weapons of Rakna Araksha Lanka Limited.
