Ravi Karunanayake reveals more on new cabinet of ministers

UNP Assistant Leader Ravi Karunanayake has said that the new cabinet of ministers will be sworn in within the next two days. He noted that as per the mandate of the people, through good governance, they want them to lead better lives than they are leading now and this will happen through the structure of a national government.

Karunanayake also said that they will investigate all the corruption and place it before the people. Meanwhile, 27 of the 29 members of parliament who will be appointed through the national list have been named. Thirteen (13) seats have been allocated for the UNP, 12 for the UPFA and two for the JVP.

The ITAK has claimed the final two national list seats. The leader of the TNA R. Sampanthan stated that the members of parliament who will be appointed through the national list will be finalised and announced on Monday.
