Two people were killed in a motor accident which took place along the Athurugiriya – Godagama road.

Police Media Spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said the accident was caused due to a car,  plying from Athurugiriya to Godagama, veering off the road and crashing into a wall.

ASP Gunasekera added that victims are aged 32 and 24.
