The 174th edition of the News 1st Leadership Training and Media Literacy Workshop took place at the Siddhartha Vidyalaya in Weligama, Matara on Thursday.

The News1st classroom project which was launched several years ago, aims at moulding leadership skills and media literacy of school students.

The 174th Workshop got underway in Matara on Thursday. Employees of News1st provided the students with an insight to New Media, communication and programme production.
