Arjuna Ranatunga, the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation inspected the Civil Aviation Authority on Friday.
The Minister who arrived at the Civil Aviation Authority on Friday morning inspected all its functions.
”I need to say that I am somewhat disappointed. It is difficult to bear when the imposing of punishments on thieves is being delayed. We need to steer this country in the right direction and not to merely change seats. We will not cause any influence on you. I will not interfere here. It does not matter if you have to listen to what a politician has to say over the telephone. But if there are unwanted influences I will take care of it as the Minister. No matter what party you belong to, do not bring politics in here.”
