Indigenous people living in the forests around Dambana have been severely inconvenienced due to a type of explosive used by poachers when hunting.
They stated that their protection is threatened when they engage in their day-to-day activities around the forest areas
When an inquiry was made into this incident, an official of the Dambana wildlife office stated that investigations have commenced into apprehending the individuals who are using these explosives.
He added that the support of residents is essential in this venture.
