Two burnt bodies of a man and woman have been found inside a hut of a chena in the Damba-Ara area in Wellawaya.

Police Media Spokesperson, SSP Ajith Rohana stated that the deceased woman was thirty nine years of age while the man was twenty six years of age.

Police suspect that the deceased man had been the dead woman’s lover. Police have launched investigations to find out whether the pair had set themselves on fire or they had been set on fire.
