A 17-year-old teenager who was alleged to have murdered another teenager in the Uragaha area in Elpitiya has been arrested.

Police stated that the 18-year-old victim was stabbed to death by the suspect, who is a resident of the Haburugala area.

Police suspect that a dispute between the two had led to the murder.
