An aircraft that was scheduled to land at the Katunayake International airport has been diverted to Mattala due to bad weather.

Manager of  airport activities at the Katunayake International Airport stated that the Sri Lankan airlines flight arriving from Muscat had been diverted to Mattala International Airport.

The flight was scheduled to land in Katunayake at 5 a.m on Monday.

The manager of the airport activities stated that the Katunayake International Airport has resumed normal functions.
