Keheliya Rambukwella, Minister of Mass Media and Information, has stated that several groups are continuing to raise allegations of war crimes instead of appreciating the end of the war due to what he says is “unethical impatience.”
The minister made this statement during an event held in the Kundasale area in Kandy.
“It is disgusting to note that some groups are questioning various incidents that took place during the end of the war and alleging war crimes instead of appreciating the end to the destruction caused by the war. They are greedy to carry out action against the leader who led this war and against our war heroes. We see this as an unethical impatience on their part,” he said.
