Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown apparently had a “marriage announcement” on her to-do list Thursday.

The twenty-year-old posted on Twitter that night that she and her fiancé, Nick Gordon, are now “happily married.”

She hasn’t shared any other details about the wedding and neither has her husband, whom she’s known since childhood.

Houston, who died in 2012, raised Gordon alongside Bobbi Kristina from the time he was 12. As a result, Gordon’s alternately been described as a “family friend” and “adopted son.” Speculation that the two were dating began circulating shortly after Houston’s death that February, and in July 2013 Brown confirmed that they were engaged.

She also addressed the criticism they’ve received about their relationship: “I’m tired of hearing people say ‘eww your engaged to your brother or if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this,'”

Brown wrote at the time. “Let me clear up something, we aren’t even real brother and sister nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating. …
People need to seriously stop judging my relationship. Pretty sure it’s my own decision who I want to be with.”
