The Editor of the Mawbima Newspaper says that UNP Parliamentarian Wijeyadasa Rajapakhse is evading giving a response to the twelve questions posed by the newspaper to the MP, in response to a challenge extended by him.

The Mawbima newspaper noted that they were unaware of such a factor and challenged the MP to reveal the information if he is aware. The Mawbima newspaper also responded to the challenge by returning twelve questions of their own to MP Wijeyadasa Rajapakhse.

Instead of responding to these questions, MP Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe has once again addressed a letter to the Editor of the Mawbima Newspaper. Through this letter he has invited the Chairman of the Mawbima Newspaper, MP Tiran Alles, to an open televised debate.

The Editor of the Mawbima newspaper reiterates that instead of responding to the twelve questions, MP Wijeyadasa Rajapakse is attempting to evade them by throwing other factors into the mix. The Editor of the Mawbima newspaper highlights seven more factors in his response to the MP.

The Editor notes that what MP Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe has to do now is to accept the twelve-point challenge extended to him by Mawbima, and respond to these questions.

The Editor of the Mawbima Newspaper believes that the people will determine Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe’s intentions based on whether he accepts this challenge.
