The Consumer Affairs Authority has rejected a request made by the Gas Association to increase the price of gas.
Director General of the authority, J.M.A Douglas said that both state and private gas associations had submitted requests for an increase. The Director General noted that permission will not be granted to these associations as there had been a decrease in global gas prices.
