Postmortem reveals Delft PS Chairman had gunshot wounds

The death of the Chairman of Delft Pradeshiya Sabha was ruled a murder subsequent to the postmortem investigations which were carried out on Wednesday morning.

Police Media Unit stated that the Chairman was admitted to the hospital by his wife with injuries to his head and he later succumbed to his injuries.

The postmortem examination that was conducted at the Jaffna hospital earlier Wednesday revealed that the deceased Chairman had suffered gunshot wounds to his head.  The Chairman of the Delft Pradeshiya Sabha, Daniel Reximon was forty-four-years old at the time of his demise.
