July 31, 2010: A special traffic plan has been implemented today and tomorrow in lieu of renovation work that needs to be carried out from the Welikada police station along the Sri Jayawardenepura Road up to the Ayurveda junction.
A communique issued by the police requested motorists playing towards Colombo to use alternative routes.
However, those plying from Battaramulla towards Colombo will not be affected by this renovation and thereby can use the normal route.
