Samudika Jayaratne to Assume Duties as Sri Lanka’s First Female Auditor General

Samudika Jayaratne will make history as the first female to ever hold this prestigious position in the country.

Jayaratne brings a wealth of expertise to her new role as the 42nd Auditor General of Sri Lanka.

Samudika Jayaratne is a seasoned professional with a background in banking, finance, insurance, taxation, treasury services, and debt management.

She began her career at the Auditor General’s Department in 2003.

Over the years, Jayaratne has served in various capacities across numerous government institutions, building a reputation for technical proficiency and leadership.
