COLOMBO (News 1st); The Australian government has reiterated its continued support for Sri Lanka’s education reform agenda and broader development initiatives during a high-level meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The discussion took place between outgoing Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Paul Stephens, and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, as the High Commissioner concludes his tenure.
Prime Minister Amarasuriya expressed her gratitude for the High Commissioner’s contributions toward strengthening bilateral relations throughout his term. She also briefed him on the government’s current priorities, including institutional strengthening, reviving previously stalled projects, and advancing education sector reforms.
