President’s Fund To Go Digital

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Sri Lankan government has announced that all services under the President’s Fund will be digitized and made accessible through Divisional Secretariat offices across the country starting June 21.

Speaking at a media briefing held at the Department of Government Information, Senior Additional Secretary to the President, G.G.S.C. Roshan, confirmed that the initiative aims to streamline public access to essential services and ensure greater transparency and efficiency.

Under this new system, citizens will be able to apply online for a range of services, including:

Self-employment assistance
Educational support
Aid for individuals with special needs
Financial assistance for poverty alleviation
