Investigation Underway After Shooting at Halloluwa’s Vehicle

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Colombo Crime Division (CCD) has launched an investigation into the shooting incident targeting the motorcade of Thusitha Halloluwa, former Director General of Public Relations to former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The investigation was initiated on the directives of Acting Inspector General of Police Priyantha Weerasooriya.

According to reports, a confidential file in his possession at the time of the incident, was stolen during the attack.

The incident occurred last night in Narahenpita.

Thusitha Halloluwa was not injured in the attack.
