US Treasury Pledges Full Support For Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka has discussed the progress achieved in the debt restructuring process with the United States.

State Finance Minister Shehan Semasinghe held a bilateral engagement with Robert Kaproth, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury during the ADB annual meeting in Tbilisi, Georgia.

He said that the progress achieved in the debt restructuring process was discussed at length.

Robert Kaproth had assured fullest support of the United States of America to Sri Lanka and pointed out the importance of continuation with the reforms that will enable a stable economy and avoid any future crisis.
