Sri Lanka's Ali Sabry meets Saudi, Egyptian Foreign Ministers in Riyadh

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabry, PC met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on the sidelines of a special meeting of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them as well as strengthen bilateral coordination in many fields.

The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues.

In addition, Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabry, PC had a productive meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on the sidelines of the Special Meeting of the World Economic Forum currently being in Riyadh.

The duo reviewed the bilateral relationship, decided to enhance economic cooperation and bilateral trade, and enhance the cultural exchanges between our countries.

They also further agreed to work closely towards the two-state solution for the Palestinian crisis.

The Sri Lankan Foreign Minister also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman, and Director-General of WHO Dr Tedros Adhanom on the sidelines of the Special Meeting 24 in Riyadh.
