COLOMBO (News 1st) - Retired Major Attorney Ajith Prasanna was found guilty by the Supreme Court on Tuesday (24) for contempt of court.
He was sentenced to 4 years rigorous imprisonment and was also fined Rs. 300,000/-.
A contempt of court case was filed with the Supreme Court claiming that Retired Major Attorney Ajith Prasanna had made a comment in contempt during a interview with a YouTube channel on the 19th of January 2020.
The Supreme Court ordered the Attorney General to also take strict disciplinary action against Retired Major Ajith Prasanna who is also an attorney.
