Body of Kadirana child, recovered

COLOMBO (News 1st); The body of a child has been recovered from the Waikkala beach in Wennappuwa.

According to the Police, they stated that the recovered body is of a 5-year-old boy, about 4 feet in height.

Police stated that investigations are underway into whether the body is of the child who was thrown into the Kelani River by a woman near the Kadirana Bridge in Wattala on 15th June.
