Energy Minister meets CBSL on CPCs Forex needs

COLOMBO (News 1st); Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara has discussed the Foreign Exchange requirement of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) for June with the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) on Monday (30) morning.

The total requirement for June imports will be $554 Million, and $100 Million will be facilitated through the exiting Indian Credit Line, he said.

He further said a new $500 Million Indian Credit Line facility was discussed at the meeting as well.
