(VIDEO) Rose offered to police manning Parliament barricade

COLOMBO (News 1st): A young Sri Lankan girl offered a rose to police officers who were manning the barricade leading to Parliament on Friday (8) afternoon.

The parliament premises was heavily guarded as over the past few days Sri Lankans have been protesting around the premises against the President and the Government, and even all members of Parliament.

The rose was offered at a time when a large group of people was in fact protesting at the same place against the President, and the government.
