Family Time for Prisoners with Good Behaviour

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Justice Minister Ali Sabry PC, announced that a program will be implemented to allow prisoners with good behavior to make home visits, subject to strict conditions.

"Prisoners need to prove their good behavior," the Justice Minister told reporters on Thursday (24).

The Justice Minister said he hopes to consult the Chief Justice in order to devise a mechanism to expedite cases as well.
