Public should self-impose lockdown: SJB

COLOMBO (News 1st): All political parties of the Samagi Jana Balawega has called on the public to impose a self-lockdown subject to medical advice and guidance.

A joint press release issued by the SJB states that it is crucial that the step should be implemented at least for 10 days.

Moreover, the release emphasized that the Government currently has no program or need to save the lives of the people.

The joint statement was signed by Sajith Premadasa, leader of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, and Rauf Hakeem, Mano Ganeshan, and Ameer Ali, leaders of the parties.
