Murdered and disappeared journalists' remembered

COLOMBO (News1st):  An event was organized in Colombo on Tuesday in remembrance of journalists who were murdered or had gone missing in the country. Ahimsa Wickrematunge, the daughter of slain newspaper editor Lasantha Wickrematunge delivered a virtual address during the event. "There must come a time when those who live in fear are those who try to silence us through abduction, arrest,  torture, murder and disappearance," she urged. Ahimsa pointed out that criminals will never be afraid as long as their blood-soaked hands are wrapped around "the wheels of justice".
