Parliamentarians must abide by quarantine laws - MP Vithanage

COLOMBO (News1st): Parliamentarians and ministers must abide by quarantine laws since a parliament reporter tested positive for the virus, a government lawmaker said. "Closing down the institution is not the answer," Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna parliamentarian Madura Vithanage said during the Satana programme on Sirasa TV. However, he conceded that parliamentarians and ministers must follow the health guidelines. "We are taking all possible measures to curb the spread of the virus," Vithanage added.
