MP Ranjan Ramanayake before courts today

COLOMBO (News 1st):- UNP MP Ranjan Ramanayake who was arrested yesterday (December 4) is due to be produced before the Nugegoda Magistrate Courts today (December 5). The MP was arrested last evening (December 4) while at his Madiwela residence following a search operation conducted by the officers of the Colombo South Crimes Division. The MP's residence was searched as per a search warrant obtained by the Nugegoda Magistrates Court. The officers had managed to discover an unlicensed firearm, 127 rounds of 9MM ammunition and several suspicious documents from his house.
