“Gotabaya will win with the highest majority in history” – Mahinda Amaraweera

COLOMBO (News 1st):- A public meeting to support the victory of Gotabaya Rajapaksa was held in Hambantota today (November 9).  A group including former speaker Chamal Rajapaksa and General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom party Mahinda Amaraweera attended this meeting organized by Mayor of Hambanthota Eraj Fernando. Speaking at the meeting, the former speaker said;

"During the past 4 to 5 years they spoke about thieves and corruption, but did they capture any thieves? Did they find golden horses? No. They made these false allegations for the money they received from NGOs from America and India. Were they able to make any change with these allegations? The only change that has come about is that the country has fallen into a state of bankruptcy. Can we believe the promises they make? How can they fulfill those? Therefore think about this with a clear mind."

General Secretary of the SLFP, Mahinda Amaraweera addressing the people gathered said;

"You will cast your vote on the 16th and by 17th morning the official election result would be out. We have already looked into auspicious times for the 18th for Gotabaya Rajapaksa to swear in as the 7th executive president of this country. He will be victorious with the highest majority recorded in history. After that auspicious time, we have also looked in for another auspicious time to chase Ranil Wickremesinghe and appoint Mahinda Rajapakse as the prime minister of this country followed, by the appointment of a new cabinet. When we appoint this new cabinet, Chamal Rajapaksa will hold one of the highest posts in the cabinet. We too will be somewhere there."
