Sri Lanka Navy deploys relief teams to high-risk areas

Colombo (News 1st): The Sri Lanka Navy says, steps have been taken to deploy relief teams to high-risk areas where disasters may occur, as a result of incessant rainfall. The Navy said relief teams have been deployed to the Thawalama and Neluwa areas in the Southern Province. The relief team will consist of officials attached to the Sri Lanka Navy's Immediate Response Unit, Rescue Unit, Relief Unit, and Naval Diving Unit.
