Dead fish washed ashore in Trincomalee

Colombo (News 1st): A large number of dead fish have been washed ashore along the Murugapuri beach in Trincomalee today (September 28). According to News 1st correspondent in the area, the fish were discovered at around 3:00 pm today. The fishermen had captured 60,000kg of fish in one go. The fishermen were facing difficulties in reeling the nets due to excessive weight.
