Kurunegala doctor released on bail

Colombo (News 1st): Dr Mohamed Shafi of the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital, has been granted bail by the Kurunegala Magistrate's Court today (July 26). He was released on a cash bail of Rs. 250,000 and four surety bails worth Rs. 2.5 million. Issuing the bail application, Kurunegala Magistrate Sampath Hewawasam ordered Dr Mohamed Shafi to be present at the CID, between 10 am and 12 am every Sunday.
