Increase in complaints of fake FB accounts : SLCERT

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness team states that over 270 complaints have been received within the last two months of 2019. There were 170 complaints in January. Associate information security engineer of the team Raveendra Meegasmulla noted that most of the complaints were lodged on the fake facebook accounts. He added that strict action will be implemented against persons who operate fake facebook accounts.
