JUST IN: Four reported dead in bus accident in Marawila

UPDATE:  The three bodies of the deceased victims in the bus accident that took place in Marawila this morning (February 18) has been taken out of the wreckage.   COLOMBO (News 1st) - Four people have lost their lives in a severe accident that took place in Mahawewa, Marawila at around 4.30 am this morning (February 18). The accident occurred when a bus traveling to Colombo from Vavuniya had veered off the road and collided onto a transformer. Nineteen others who sustained injuries in the accident had been admitted to the Marawila hospital while another injured victim was admitted to the Chilaw hospital.
