A threat to Rishad Bathiudeen's security?

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Leader of the All Ceylon Makkal Congress Rishad Bathiudeen appeared before the Criminal Investigations Department today (December 06). The ACMC made a complaint on a statement made by Namal Kumara the Operations Director of an Anti-corruption outfit which stated that there was an attempt to assassinate Bathiudeen in addition to the alleged assassination plot on several VIPs. Speaking to the media Baithudeen said that he does not know why there is an attempt to assassinate him but that his security has been completely removed as of now. He continued to say that even amidst major inquiries going on, his security has been removed.
