Harrisons launches "Apei Thei"

Colombo (News1st): ‘Ape thei’, a distinct brand of Ceylon tea, was launched at Stein Studios Ratmalana this morning (October 02). Whilst Harrisons has been a dominant player in the export of Ceylon tea to countries ranging from the Middle East to South America for the past 107 years, the launch of ‘Ape thei’ signifies its entry into the competitive local tea market, aimed at providing qualitative and affordable Ceylon tea to Sri Lankan consumers. Today’s event saw the participation of the senior management of the Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited, and members of its local distribution arm, ICL.
