March supporting no-confidence motion against PM commences from Kandy

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A march organised to support the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has commenced. This march will proceed from Kandy to Colombo. The march is organised by the Organisation to Protect the United National Party and the United National Freedom Front. The march commenced following religious observances at the Gatambe Diyakapanathota Historic Temple in Kandy. The march will proceed to Mawanella this evening (March 31) after passing through Peradeniya, Kiribathkumbura, Pilimathalawa and Kadugannawa. Tomorrow (April 1) the march will proceed to Nelumdeniya, thereafter to Nittambuwa, and on April 4th when the motion of no-confidence is taken up in parliament, the march will reach Colombo.
